The Challenge

In early 2025, a 4-star military headquarters planned a “writing conference” for OPLANs (Operational Plans). This event was slated to be a multiple day engagement that typically requires a large group of people to travel and come together to write the OPLAN. Historically, this is done by combing through files from Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and other sources. This method lacks version control, historical records, and makes working simultaneously with others difficult.
