Since Secretary McNamara, dozens of software efforts spent billions on Global Integration. None succeeded. Even after 59 years of major programs, Coalition forces in Afghanistan made over 15 million PowerPoint slides.
First, we started with over 300 interviews – from recent SAMS and SAW graduates up to Combatant Commanders.
Second, we ran an exercise series. We’d recruit 2 teams of 6 planners to spend all day facing a realistic Joint Task Force scenario.
One team would use an early version of Onebrief, while the other used traditional tools. To date, we’ve hosted 18 exercises. These are the key to building software every planner wants to use.
Third, one headquarters used us for a single CONPLAN. It worked – and they recommended us to other units. Today, 100% of current customers found Onebrief through word-of-mouth from our early users.
